This beautiful location made the perfect backdrop for Samantha and Curtis’ engagement session! These two are getting married this fall at the Spanish Hills Country Club and I cannot wait for their wedding day. Samantha and Curtis actually met in Westlake Village, at the Stonehause, the wine bar at the Westlake Village Inn. Last May, for her birthday, Curtis surprised her with a road trip that he planned out all on his own. As both lovers of wine, he planned out the most amazing trip to Northern California beginning in Carmel, then San Francisco, Sonoma, and ending in Napa. On their first evening in Carmel, they stopped at the beach to pop some champagne and have a little charcuterie picnic on the beach before dinner. And that’s where he popped the question!
And that brings us to our engagement session in Malibu! Although they did tell me that they were very awkward in front of the camera, you definitely cannot tell looking at their images. (That’s where having a hands on and directional photographer is so helpful. 😉) The weather was great, they couple was fun, and everything turned out so perfect for their session! I have a feeling their wedding day will be the same exact way!
