After photographing more than 250 weddings over the past 8 years, I've really come to value the unexpected, intimate moments that take place on a wedding day.
The hug your mom gives you before you leave your dressing room. The tear that falls down his cheek when he sees you walking down the aisle. The way the two of you lean your heads together during the toasts.
This day is about more than the flowers and the shoes you choose. It's about celebrating the start of a new family. It's an honor to play a part in such a significant day and I hope you'll choose me to be a part of yours!

A virtual meeting is set up right away to get to know each other and to get detailed information about the Aura Elizabeth Photography experience. After this is done and we feel we're a good fit, an agreement will be sent over your way via Honeybook to sign. Through the Honeybook platform you can sign your contract electronically online, make your wedding payments, view your photography timeline, and communicate with Aura with their messaging system.
An engagement session is a great time to get to know you, to get you comfortable in front of the camera, and for you to have beautiful images to use and post. A list of suggested locations is sent to you and you can decide on one of them or on going somewhere else you'd prefer. Edited images will be sent to you via an online gallery within two weeks of your session date.
Guiding, directing, and posing couples is my strong point and something I am very passionate about. After 8 years of photographing mainly couples, I've learned several different poses to guide couples through. And although I like those posed images, I also love those fun, candid images of couples being themselves and just having fun. I'll also give couples prompts and direction as to how to achieve these candid and fun images.
All edited, high resolution images are delivered via an online gallery called PASS. This gallery will allow you to view, download, share, and order prints. Typically 75-100 images per hour of wedding coverage are delivered but this varies on how many locations we’re going to and the drive time in between. You have printing rights to these images and they are not watermarked. PASS Galleries also has an online store that allows you to order high quality prints to be delivered straight to your home.
Yes! You can make 2, 3, 4, or 5 payments spaced out evenly between the time you book and your wedding day. Honeybook will send you an email reminder whenever your next payment is due and you can just pay it online. Easy peasy!
Southern California travel is included in all collections so a separate traveling fee is not required. We're all about making things easy over here!
Yes! All 2nd shooters are also wedding photographers themselves so really, you'll have 2 experienced wedding photographers photographing your wedding day. This is extremely helpful in photographing different things happening at the same time and getting a variety of angles for your images.
Some couples ask if 8 hours is enough time, and the easiest answer is yes! If you’ve ever seen any of the blog posts, from shooting the dress to throwing the bouquet, almost all weddings are 8 hours. The two most common reasons couples ever need to add more hours is if there’s a lot of drive time or you need us to stay until the very end because you’re doing a special exit. However, our main goal right now is saving your date! You can always add more hours later down the road, and we’ll have a better idea once your timeline is created.
