It looks like we went to the mountains for Samantha & Cameron’s engagement session but were were actually in Orange County! This hidden gem of a location has small Sequoia trees and it was exactly what they had in mind in preparation for their November wedding at the Bower’s Museum and Ebell Club in Orange County.

Samantha & Cameron met in college in Denver, Colorado during their freshman year and have been together almost 6 years. Two and a half of those years were spent in long distance as Samantha came back to California to go to physical therapy school. However, he made the move out here recently and life has been amazing for them since.

While waiting for her board exam results for physical therapy, they went back to Colorado to visit his family. By this time, he had been planning proposals but had different bumps in the road with getting it to happen. While they were visiting their college campus there, Cameron proposed to her in front of the chapel as that was a special place to her. The bells rang right after he proposed marking the perfect time for it!

She directed me through the poses and was also open for suggestions of certain thing we wanted to do; ex: our just married jean jacket photos.
